Miguel was born in Fuerteventura to a Spanish father and German mother, and has spent his life exploring the island's trails. He holds a Tourism Degree and a Mountain Sports Instructor qualification, certified by UIMLA (member no. 1639) — one of the most rigorous mountain guide certifications in the world. He has further expanded his expertise trekking through jungles, glaciers and deserts across South America, and leads all tours in Spanish, English and German.
